Hot Air Balloon Ground Crew

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Ground crew are responsible for setting up, packing up, and assisting our pilots with all aspects of a hot air balloon flight. Our crew interact with our passengers more than any other staff member, so customer service and professional presentation are a key responsibility.
All new employees undergo comprehensive induction/training, as well as receiving ongoing specific training. Breakfast is included with each shift and an occasional balloon flight too!
This position is casual, shifts are available 7 mornings a week, and it is weather dependent. Our office is in Ringwood, which is where you will start your shifts each morning.
HOURS
Early morning start time (approx. 2.5hrs before sunrise), finishing before midday.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Meet and greet passengers, and act in a professional and polite way
Drive manual vehicles including 4WDs towing trailers
Assist with setup and packup of hot air balloons
Cleaning and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Maintain a constant liaison with landowners and other staff members within PTB, addressing any problems or positive issues

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Manual vehicle driving experience is required, and 4WD experience is desirable.
Great communication skills and customer service skills
Punctual, reliable and dependable
Ability to work in a small team
Trailer towing and reversing experience is desirable
First Aid qualification is desirable
You need your own transport to get to Ringwood (no public transport available)
